Westgreen Community just got a rid of a major drug problem

Terry Britt, Jr. 40, Douglas, GA

Coffee County, GA – On April 8, 2026, members of the Douglas-Coffee Drug Unit, with assistance from the D.I.C.E. Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence on Huffer Road in Westgreen, Georgia.

Upon execution of the warrant, Terry Britt Jr., age 40, was taken into custody without incident. During the search, investigators discovered quantities of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and Schedule III controlled substances.

Further investigation revealed that Britt, a convicted felon, was in possession of multiple firearms, including several rifles and handguns, which is prohibited under Georgia law.

Britt has been charged with multiple offenses, including:

  • Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute

  • Possession of a Schedule I or II Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute

  • Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute

  • Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony

  • Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon

All charges carry no bond at this time.

Sheriff Fred Cole stated, “Chief Pruette and I couldn’t be more proud of the work this group is doing—busting drug dealers and proactively identifying, disrupting, and dismantling the trafficking of illegal narcotics and dangerous drugs.”
