Suspect Identified and Charged After Highway 158 Fight

PEDRO ADOLFO VASQUEZ 21, DOUGLAS, GA

On June 24, 2025, the Coffee County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported physical altercation on Highway 158. Upon arrival, deputies determined that the incident had concluded and the involved parties had left the scene.

Subsequent investigation identified Pedro Adolfo Vasquez as one of the participants in the altercation. Based on evidence collected and witness statements, Vasquez was charged with the following offenses under Georgia law:

Battery, in violation of O.C.G.A. 16 5 23.1

•Affray (Fighting), in violation of O.C.G.A. 16 11 32

•Terroristic Threats, in violation of O.C.G.A. 16 11 37

Vasquez was taken into custody and transported to the Coffee County Pre-Trial Detention Center. He was later released on bail and is currently awaiting a court appearance.
