WANTED PERSON ALERT

Coffee County, GA — The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating James Dustin Cribbs, age 36. Cribbs is described as a white male, standing approximately 5’10”, weighing 165 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair.

Cribbs is wanted in connection to multiple auto thefts and a burglary within Coffee County. Community outcry has labeled him a Menace to Society, reflecting increasing concern over his continued criminal theft behavior.

Recently, investigators obtained video footage from the Jameson Inn Motel in Douglas, showing Cribbs driving a white GMC truck that had been reported stolen. In the footage, Cribbs can be seen spray-painting over the front license plate, which investigators believe was an attempt to hinder identification of the vehicle. The stolen truck was later located and recovered on Thursday of this week.

Sheriff Fred Cole encourages anyone with information to come forward, noting that even minor details could be critical in helping detectives locate Cribbs and bring him into custody.
