The Coffee County Sheriff's Office is providing the following information in accordance with Georgia law (O.C.G.A. 42-1-12), which authorizes law enforcement agencies to notify the public when, in their discretion, such notification will enhance public safety and community awareness.

Johnny Lamar Caves, age 58, a registered sex offender, has recently moved to Coffee County. He is not currently wanted by law enforcement. This notice is for public awareness and safety, not to cause fear.
