Traffic Stop Leads to Drug and Firearm Arrest

Jessee Music, 42, Douglas, GA

On October 30, 2025, deputies with the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Unit conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation at the intersection of Maple Street and First Avenue in Douglas, Georgia. The vehicle was identified as being operated by Jesse Music.

During the course of the stop, deputies observed behavior indicative of criminal activity. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted, resulting in the discovery of a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and three firearms inside the vehicle.

As a result, Jesse Music was arrested and transported to the Coffee County Pre-Trial Detention Center without incident, where he was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.
