Drug Investigation Leads to Arrest of Glen Merrill

Glen Merrill, 60, Douglas GA

Following a month-long investigation, Drug Agents with the Douglas-Coffee Drug Unit executed a search warrant on June 24, 2025. Detectives located a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and digital scales, consistent with drug distribution.

60-Year-old Glen Merrill, identified as a resident of the location, was later observed traveling as a passenger in a vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted, and Merrill was detained without incident.

Merrill was found to have two active arrest warrants and now faces additional charges of Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, in violation of O C G A 16-13-30(b).

He was transported to the Coffee County Pre-Trial Detention Center, where he remains in custody.
