Two Arrested on Drug and Firearm Charges

On Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at approximately 8:45 a.m., Detectives with the Douglas-Coffee County Drug Unit executed a search warrant at a residence located near Cobblestone Road in Douglas, Georgia, in reference to ongoing investigations into suspected narcotics distribution at the location.

During the search, investigators recovered a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and five (5) firearms from inside the residence.

As a result of the investigation and evidence seized, two individuals were taken into custody:

Brian “MAC” Alexander was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon

  • Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime

  • Possession of Methamphetamine



Christie Garcia was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony

  • Possession of Methamphetamine



Both suspects were transported to the Coffee County Pre-Trial Detention Center, where they remain pending judicial proceedings.
