Sex Offender Information Bulletin

The Coffee County Sheriff's Office is providing the following information in accordance with Georgia law (O.C.G.A. 42-1-12), which authorizes law enforcement agencies to notify the public when, in their discretion, such notification will enhance public safety and community awareness.

The individual identified in this bulletin has been convicted of a sex offense that requires registration with the Sheriff’s Office in the county of residence. 

This offender has completed the sentence imposed by the court. THE INDIVIDUAL IS NOT CURRENTLY WANTED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT. THIS NOTIFICATION IS NOT INTENDED TO CREATE FEAR, BUT TO PROMOTE PUBLIC SAFETY THROUGH AWARENESS.

In Georgia, if the offense occurred on or after July 1, 2008 a registered sex offenders (per O.C.G.A. 42-1-15)  loitering is prohibited at any child care facility, school, or areas where minors congregate (public & private parks, recreation facilities, playgrounds, skating rinks, neighborhood centers, gymnasium, public libraries, and public & community swimming pools).
